Where EmbedSocial is stronger
A new Google review reaches an EmbedSocial free widget within a day. On VerifiedWidget's free plan it can take a month. Its free widget page also lists up to 500 reviews against our 20. A business with years of reviews can show a deep sample at no cost.
It is a good choice if the same page also needs an Instagram or Facebook feed. One editor handles both, and it describes keyword and star filters, pinning, custom CSS and embeds for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow.
Where VerifiedWidget is stronger
EmbedSocial says its 500 free views are shared across every widget on the account, and a widget stops showing when they run out. A single busy service page can use that up. VerifiedWidget's free plan gives 10,000.
Paid views cost less. EmbedSocial's Google widget page shows $29 a month, and its Pro plan allows 5,000 views. VerifiedWidget Reviews is $99 a year for 100,000 views a month. Before you decide
Count where the widget will load. Several EmbedSocial widgets drain one shared view budget. If you have hundreds of reviews but little traffic, the free plans favor EmbedSocial. If you have traffic but few reviews, they favor VerifiedWidget. Its views reset on the first day of each month. Add the cost of any extra sources if you plan to add social content later.

Switching from EmbedSocial
- Note any EmbedSocial feeds that are not Google reviews and leave them running. VerifiedWidget will not reproduce an Instagram feed or a mixed wall.
