How to add Google reviews to Duda
Put a review widget in the right row of the right client page, then check the live domain and mobile layout.

Quick answer
- Copy the script tag from your widget's Embed dialog in VerifiedWidget.
- In the Duda editor click Add in the left sidebar (older editors say Widgets), search HTML and drag it into a page row or column.
- Right-click it, choose Edit Content (or Manage HTML in Editor 2.0), paste the script and click Update.
- Publish and open the client's live domain.
What you need
Editor access to the Duda site. Duda's Custom Code help lists custom code on Team plans and higher; if the HTML element is missing, ask the account owner or Duda support.
Add the widget in Duda
Build it for this client's business
Connect the client's own Google listing in VerifiedWidget. Pick a grid for a wide row or a carousel for a narrow one, then copy the script tag.
Use a page row, not the header or footer
Duda says an HTML widget in the shared header or footer appears on every page. The same widget inside a normal row appears on that page only. Add a row after the service description and before the contact form.
Add the HTML widget
Click Add in the left sidebar and search for HTML. Drag the HTML widget into its own column or container. Right-click it and choose Edit Content, or Manage HTML in Editor 2.0. Paste the script into the HTML box, click Update and save. Menu names differ a little between Duda editor versions.
Publish and check each client domain
Check Duda's desktop and mobile views, publish, and open the real custom domain. Make sure the row does not crop the cards or collide with a sticky booking button.
Duda-specific problems
- HTTPS only. Duda warns that its editor uses HTTPS, so an HTTP resource inside custom code fails. Paste the script exactly as copied and never swap its address to http.
- Cannot select the widget afterwards. Some custom code can make an HTML widget hard to click in the editor. Keeping it in its own column or container gives you a handle to find, resize or remove it.
- Reviews at the very bottom of every page. The script went into the site-wide head code (Site Settings → Advanced) or a page's own head code. Code there loads in the page head, so the widget lands below everything else. Move it into an HTML widget in a page row.
- Copied a template between clients. A cloned site keeps the previous client's widget script. Swap in the new client's own script before publishing.
For agencies managing several sites
Create one widget per client business in VerifiedWidget and name it after the client so it is easy to find later. The Reviews plan allows unlimited widgets and up to 20 businesses on one account. Keep a short note of which Duda page holds each widget, so a later template change does not remove it unnoticed.
Handing the site over to a client
If you build for a client, tell them where the review widget lives. Note the page, the row and the HTML element. Give them access to their VerifiedWidget dashboard so they can hide reviews or switch collections without opening the Duda editor. Free widgets refresh monthly. The Reviews plan syncs automatically. That matters for clients who expect new Google reviews to appear without anyone editing the page.
Frequently asked questions
Which Duda plan supports custom code?
Duda's Custom Code help says Team plans and higher. Also check your agency permissions.
Which Duda widget should I use?
The HTML widget (search HTML in the Add panel), placed in a row or column on the page.
Will an HTML widget appear on every page?
Only if placed in a shared header or footer. A normal page row limits it to that page.
Why does the widget fail inside the editor?
Custom HTML can behave differently in the editor. Check the published page and confirm the script uses HTTPS.
