How to Add Google Reviews to Jimdo
Jimdo sells two different editors. Jimdo Creator accepts the review script; Jimdo Website Builder does not accept any outside code.

Quick answer (Jimdo Creator)
- Log in, choose the website and click Edit.
- Hover over the content area and click Add Element > More elements and Add-ons > Widget/HTML Element.
- Paste the VerifiedWidget script and click Save. Jimdo says to refresh the browser if the widget does not display correctly.
On Jimdo Website Builder there is nowhere to paste the script. The link option further down still works.
Which Jimdo do you have?
Jimdo's product guide gives three quick checks:
- Editor address. Creator's editor starts with cms.e.jimdo.com. Website Builder's starts with builder.e.jimdo.com.
- Free site address. Creator sites end in jimdoweb.com (newer) or jimdofree.com (older). Website Builder sites end in jimdosite.com.
- Dashboard. Creator's left menu is very short. Website Builder's has many items, such as Store, Marketing and Statistics.
Jimdo Creator: two places for code
Jimdo's widget article covers the Widget/HTML Element. It places reviews exactly where you add it. Jimdo's support helps with standard features but expects you to handle your own code.
Creator also has Menu > Settings > Edit Head, listed in Jimdo's own-code article. Code there loads on every page but has no spot in your layout. If the VerifiedWidget script sits in the head, the widget is added at the end of each page. That suits the badge layout, which floats in a corner anyway.
Jimdo Website Builder: use a link
Jimdo's Website Builder article says you cannot add HTML, CSS or JavaScript, embed iframes, or use outside widgets. Its Smart Apps block only connects a fixed list of services, such as YouTube and Calendly, and review widgets are not on it. Jimdo points people who need code to Creator.
You can still send visitors to your reviews. Every VerifiedWidget widget has a hosted reviews page at verifiedwidget.com/r/YOUR_WIDGET_ID. It is a plain page of your reviews that is also easier for AI tools to read. Add that link to a button or menu item in Website Builder.
Jimdo Creator problems
- Widget not showing after Save. Refresh the browser, as Jimdo suggests. Then check the whole script is still in the element.
- Cramped reviews in a narrow column. A carousel needs width. Use a list layout in a side column, and a grid or carousel in a full-width area.
- Blocked after you set a domain allowlist. The allowlist limits which sites can show your widget. Add your full Jimdo address (for example yourname.jimdoweb.com) and any custom domain. Creator lists it under Menu > Domains and Email > Domains.
- Two copies on a page. The script is in a Widget/HTML Element and in Edit Head. Keep one.
Other blank-widget causes are in our widget-not-showing checklist.
