Quick answer
- Copy the script tag from your widget's Embed dialog in VerifiedWidget.
- In Kajabi, open Website, find the page and click its title to open the builder.
- Open the section, choose Add block → Custom Code and paste the script, tags included, into Code.
- Save, publish and check the live page.
What you need
A Kajabi website or landing page you can edit. Kajabi documents the Custom Code block without naming a plan; if the block is missing, ask Kajabi support. The separate “Modify code” template editor is Pro-only and is not needed here.
Add the widget to a Kajabi page
Match the widget to the page width
Choose a carousel or list for a narrow offer page, or a grid for a wide one. Preview mobile in VerifiedWidget before you save and copy the script.
Open the section
In the Kajabi dashboard go to Website, choose the Website Page or Landing Page, and select the page title to enter the builder. Open the section where reviews should sit, for example after the offer explanation and before the final sign-up button.
Add block → Custom Code
Inside the section click Add block, choose Custom Code, paste the VerifiedWidget script into the Code field and save. Kajabi requires
<script>tags in this block, so paste the tag exactly as copied.Check desktop and mobile, then publish
Look at both builder views, publish, and open the live page. If a grid is crowded on a phone, switch the widget to a carousel or list. Recheck after you change the page template, since block placement can shift.
Kajabi-specific problems
- Two fields, opposite rules about script tags. The Custom Code block needs the script tags. The page Settings → Custom Code → JavaScript field says to leave them out. Pasting the tagged script into the settings field is the usual reason a widget shows nothing or shows raw text.
- The Custom Code block is not offered. Kajabi says the blocks available to you depend on your page template. Try adding a new section with Add section, or check which template the page uses.
- Reviews at the bottom of every page. The script went into Header Page Scripts. Kajabi puts that code in the head of every page except checkout and upsell pages, so the widget lands at the bottom of each one. Move it into a Custom Code block.
- Code shows as text. It went into an ordinary text block. Delete it and use Custom Code.
- Checkout pages. Kajabi's code editor does not cover checkout pages; keep the widget on website and landing pages.
Kajabi says its support team cannot help create or modify custom code. If the block saves but stays blank on the live page, contact VerifiedWidget support with the page URL instead.
Choosing what to show on an offer page
If the page sells a course or membership, keep the claim honest: the reviews are about your business, not about that offer. Use a heading such as “Reviews of our business”. Keep the review date and Google label switched on in the widget. Use a named collection of the reviews that mention coaching, support or results you actually deliver. Kajabi pages are built from sections, so a good pattern is one compact carousel in the section just above your main call to action. If you add reviews to several pages, check each published page separately. A block can sit differently in each template. Always view the finished page as a visitor who is not logged in.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Kajabi Pro to add a review widget?
Pro is needed for Kajabi's template code editor, not for the Custom Code block. Kajabi names no plan for the block; if it is missing, contact Kajabi support.
Which Kajabi field should receive the script?
For a visible section, use Add block → Custom Code and paste the complete script tag into Code.
Why do some Kajabi instructions say to omit script tags?
That applies to the page Settings custom JavaScript field. The Custom Code block is different and needs the tags.
Why is the block unavailable?
Kajabi says block choices vary by template. Try another section or page template, and check your account permissions.
