Quick answer
- Copy the script tag from your widget's Embed dialog in VerifiedWidget.
- In the Leadpages builder open Widgets, click Show More and drag the HTML widget onto the page.
- Open its settings, paste the script, and click Save inside the widget.
- Save and publish the page, then open the live link.
What you need
A Leadpages page you can edit. Leadpages documents the HTML widget for its Classic Builder and names no plan. If you cannot find it, ask Leadpages support which widget your builder uses for custom code.
Steps for Leadpages
Choose a landing-page layout
A carousel or slider works just above the form. A tall wall can push the form off a phone screen. The badge layout is different: it floats in a corner of the screen, so check it does not cover your button on a phone. Save the widget and copy its script tag.
Drag in the HTML widget
It is hidden behind Show More in the Widgets sidebar. Drop it at the spot where reviews should show, ideally close to the button.
Paste the code and save the widget
Click the edit icon on the widget, paste the script, and click Save inside the widget. Leadpages warns that code can be lost on publishing if you skip this.
Size it and publish
Make the widget area as wide as the section around it. Publish, then open the live page in a private window; the builder preview may not run scripts the way the published page does.
Leadpages-specific problems
- Code gone after publishing. You pasted it but did not click Save inside the HTML widget itself.
- Widget sits off-center. Leadpages suggests wrapping HTML widget code in
<center>tags. Put them around the script, not inside it. - Different builder. Leadpages has more than one builder, and the help article covers Classic Builder. Page Studio, its newer builder, is still in beta, and names may differ there. Check Leadpages support if you cannot find an HTML option.
- Inside a popup. Popups are separate containers. Test on the page itself first, then in the popup.
Leadpages pages often run on a custom domain. If your VerifiedWidget allowlist is on, add that domain as well as the leadpages one.
Where reviews convert attention into trust
On a landing page, reviews do the most work close to the decision: under the headline and button, or directly above the sign-up form. One carousel just above the form is usually enough. Keep one clear call to action, and hide the weaker-fit reviews so the first thing a visitor reads is the most relevant.
Testing before you send traffic
Landing pages usually receive paid or email traffic, so test before you promote them. Publish the page, open it on a phone, and check that the reviews load without moving the form or button. Reviews load a moment after the rest of the page and can push content down. Leave enough empty space for the widget. If you run split tests, add the same widget to each variant. Then the difference you measure comes from your headline or offer, not from one version having reviews.
