How to Add Google Reviews to Systeme.io

Systeme.io's Raw HTML element puts reviews inside a funnel page. It stays blank in Preview, so you check the result on the live URL.

Quick answer

Open the funnel, pick the page from the list on the left and click Edit page.
Drag Raw HTML from the side panel to where reviews belong. Click it, choose Edit code, paste the VerifiedWidget script and click Save.
Save the page, then open its live URL. Preview will not show the reviews.

Raw HTML works on sales pages, order forms and thank-you pages. It is not offered on Info pages.

Before you start

Have your widget's script tag ready from the Embed dialog in VerifiedWidget. Every step on this page comes from Systeme.io's HTML, CSS and JS article. That article lists only a Systeme.io account as the requirement.

Systeme.io warns that once you save, the old version of the page cannot be restored. If you are replacing earlier code in a Raw HTML element, copy it somewhere first.

Three places Systeme.io accepts code

Raw HTML element. Sits inside the page, exactly where you drop it. This is the only option that puts a grid or carousel next to your offer.
Page tracking code. In the page editor, click Settings (top left) and scroll to Tracking. It has header and footer boxes for that one page.
All funnels. Click your profile picture, then Settings > Sales Funnels, and use the Tracking code box. Systeme.io applies it to every funnel.

The two tracking boxes cannot pick a spot inside the page. They suit the badge layout, which floats in a corner of the screen. The all-funnels box puts that badge on every page of every funnel, so use it only if you want that.

Where reviews help in a funnel

On a sales page, put a grid after the offer and before the main button. On an order form, use a short layout below the offer details, so required fields stay near the top. On a thank-you page, one row of reviews can back up the purchase without hiding the next steps.

Systeme.io-specific problems

Blank in Preview. Expected. Systeme.io says Raw HTML is only visible on the live page.
Raw HTML missing from the side panel. You are on an Info page. Use a sales page, order form or thank-you page.
Code rejected or page layout broken. Systeme.io says not to include <html>, <head>, <body> or <footer> tags in any code box. The VerifiedWidget script tag needs none of them.
Two badges on one page. The script is in the all-funnels box and in a page box. Keep one.

What is the HTML element called?

Raw HTML. Drag it onto a sales page, order form or thank-you page and click Edit code.

Why is the widget blank in Preview?

Systeme.io says Raw HTML does not appear in Preview mode. Open the live page instead.

Can I add reviews to an Info page?

Not with Raw HTML, which Info pages do not support. A floating badge in the page's tracking code is the alternative.

Can I show reviews on every funnel at once?

Yes. Put a badge widget's script in Settings > Sales Funnels > Tracking code. It floats on every funnel page.

Will reviews on my sales page give me stars in Google?

No. Google does not show review stars for reviews a business shows about itself. Our star ratings guide explains why.
